Meet Our Team
Our team is dedicated, experienced and devoted to seeing our students succeed.
PrincipalI love working at Warwick Christian College as the principal and am passionate about Christian education. I started working for Christian Community Ministries (CCM) as a teacher at Groves Christian College in 2005 where I taught until I became the Head of the second campus in 2015.
Warwick is a beautiful city and the College has some wonderful buildings and facilities, but the most important part of this school is the children, families and staff. I have been married to my beautiful wife Nicole, since 1986, the same year we became Christians. God has dramatically changed our lives and blessed us with four wonderful children and one grandson.
My personal hobbies include, squash, table tennis, mountain walks, coffee.
Head of Vocational Education.Sally provides career guidance to our secondary students. She and her husband Mark have 6 children.
Sally originally worked as a Quantity Surveyor and left that to concentrate on her family and home school their growing family.
In 2012 they enrolled their children at the College and Sally joined the College staff the next year. Sally loves the Lord, sitting on the veranda enjoying a cuppa with her husband, spending time with her family and getting away to the beach.
She has holds a Masters of Business Administration.

He is looking forward to continuing on the great work the Hub has previously provided for students disengaged from their learning. Chris enjoys spending his down time with family and friends and hanging out at home.
Head of Pastoral CareMy name is Steven Pearson, and I have had the privilege of being a part of the Christian Community Ministries group of schools since 2013. I am currently undertaking a Master degree in Curriculum and Pedagogical Leadership.
During my time in Christian Community Ministries Colleges I have taught Secondary Mathematics, Senior Mathematics B, Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Biblical Studies, and was part of the team that implemented and taught Digital Technologies at Dalby Christian College for years 7 to 10.
I moved to Warwick in 2017 and took on the role of Secondary Science teacher, and more recently have been appointed to the position of Head of Pastoral Care.
As an educator and leader, I believe strongly in the teaching of Proverbs 22: 6, which says:
“Train a child up in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Facilities and Admin ManagerMaritta began volunteering at the College in 2009 helping develop and run the reading program, working as a teacher aide, doing general office work and starting the uniform shop. In 2011, she was employed as the school’s first receptionist, finance and general office worker 2 days a week, while continuing to volunteer in classrooms and the uniform shop.
Maritta has held many paid and voluntary roles in the school over the years from cleaner, teacher aide, maintenance, office work and pool caretaker. Maritta counts her greatest achievement as being mother to 5 children and grandmother to 1. She loves her Savior and King with all her heart and loves this school.
